This is a fast growing technology. The sun heats water in the vacuum tube thermal collectors, and in turn, drives an absorption chiller which uses water as the coolant instead of the conventional dangerous compounds that often get released into the atmosphere. The system is very low maintenance which makes it a desirable cooling alternative to the conventional AC system...and brings good cost savings.

     Solar water heaters use the sun to heat water in the thermal collectors and store the hot water in the storage tank for use. A typical solar water-heating system reduces the need for conventional water heating by about two-thirds.

     Photovoltaic (PV) systems make use of the abundant energy in the sun by converting sunlight directly into electricity. It is clean and reliable. If stalled on rooftops, they can also reduce the radiant heat gain for the properties and better protect the roofs.
